Toyota Trucks & Land Cruisers are well known for their strength & reliability all over the world.  Out of the box they feature some pretty great drivetrain, but they do have their limits.   The factory 30 spline full-floater axle shafts are not built to withstand the added stress of larger tires and heavy offroad use. Nitro Gear & Axle has addressed this by offering a range of Heavy Duty Chromoly Rear Full Float Axles.  The only Full Float rearends offered by Toyota in the US were in Dually Pickups, and FZJ80 Land Cruiser, however Full float axles were much more popular worldwide in all models of Landcruisers and are commonly used as an upgrade for US models and otherwise. Team of Overland Adventurers Prepare to Travel the Globe

Expeditions 7Prescott, Ariz. (2012-02-17) – Overland Journal announces the Expeditions 7 Round-the-World Expedition.

Overland International CEO Scott Brady announced today that he will lead a team of adventurers to all seven continents in two Toyota Land Cruisers.

“We conceived the concept of traveling to all seven continents a few years back, but needed to find the best partners to achieve this significant undertaking,” said Brady.  The lead driving team will be from Miller Motorsports Park, with Proffitt’s Cruisers providing the primary vehicle preparation services.  Miller Motorsports Park is home to the new Land Cruiser Heritage Museum, which will house the most complete collection of ‘Cruisers in North America.
